What access & space is required?
I’m happy to visit the location of your marquee beforehand see the space and access available.
I can adapt the space available to suit you. It’s recommend you have a minimum width of 3 meters and depth of 2 meters. I can be flexible on height, but bear in mind that frequently the sides of the marquee are lower than in the middle!
Another consideration is what I call ‘The Flow of Your Day’. Often in Marquee weddings, the room is the focal point of the day covering both afternoon and evening receptions. If space permits, I normally recommend setting up the disco early before guests arrive. This saves times and gives you total flexibility such as starting the music early or later if desired. You also have the option of having music played through the wedding breakfast which is an increasingly popular addition.
Power Requirements
Power is usually provided by the venue either by cable from the venue usually via extension cable or by a generator.
I recommend to clients that they ensure that power consumption is adequate for their requirements i.e. caterers, internal lighting and of course us! I require two 13 Amp sockets, but I am always happy to liaise with the venue/marquee supplier should you required.
Mood Lighting
Mood lighting always looks fantastic in a marquee, and gives the evening the extra ‘wow’ factor. I can also match the colour to suit wedding colour these.
