Disco Early Set Up

Disco early set up, why are they a great idea?

Many functions start & finish at different times. For example, a wedding reception in a marquee, hotel or village hall would involve caterers, florists and other providers setting up and being ready before the happy couple arrive back from the church or registry office.

Many clients prefer to have their Wedding DJ set up and ready. In this article I cover the advantages of why a disco early set up is good option for some events.

An early set up is a popular option at marquee wedding receptions or venues when space is limited. It also saves time later in the day. Setting up early in the day (usually during the morning) means that the disco is ready to start at your convenience. It really is a flexible and worthwhile option.

With an early set up, your DJ will have no need to navigate their way through crowds of guests later in the day. Equipment would have been tested and the sound checks taken place. If you have ordered mood lighting these would also be installed early too.

Early set up also means that ceremony or wedding breakfast music could also be provided. This offers a seamless transition into the evening’s proceedings. If required, Radio microphones can also be provided for the speeches.

The early set up is a fantastic option, particularly where space is at a premium or where turnaround times are tight. Wedding venues prefer an early set up.

The extra fee for setting up early starts from only £50.

Whether you are booking a wedding DJ for a marquee in Norwich or birthday party in Cambridge, I recommend that you consider an early set up.
