I really like this time of year. It’s the middle of the wedding season, but also the school prom season is about to get under way in the next few weeks. This year, I shall be returning to Clare College Cambridge for a number of college proms. I really do love summer marquee weddings & events.
This year marquee functions are particularly popular. They give a stunning setting for any event. Last week I did a wonderful 40th Birthday Party in a marquee at Pakenham Suffolk just outside of Bury St Edmunds. It was lovely sunny evening and everyone had a great time.
This year, 40th, 50th & 60th Birthday parties in particular are incredibly popular. It’s great that so many clients return back to East Anglian Discos to book their function Disco knowing that no other Mobile Disco in Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire can offer the high quality and value packages which I provide.
Last weekend I had the privilege of providing my wedding DJ services at Dunston Hall Norwich in their Eaton Suite, where I provided my disco for an old school friend who I hadn’t seen for 35 years. It was a fantastic compliment to be part of their special day, in such a lovely setting.
I am looking forward to an outside wedding reception (no marquee!) at Bury St Edmunds in early July. They do have plans for me should it rain! It’s a stunning setting close to the historic Ickworth House. I have already had a meeting at the wedding venue. It is vital with these type of events to meet beforehand to discuss power, access, available space etc.
