The number one consideration when booking your DJ should be whether he/she is suitably experienced to ensure that your function is a fantastic success.
However, another important factor frequently overlooked is whether your Wedding or Party DJ has the right equipment for your function. But how do you know? My DJ equipment is high quality professional grade suitable for all occasions and venues.
For example small speakers are fine in a small venue where there are only 50 guests, but they will sound awful in a large barn or marquee where there are over 100 guests. In larger venues the DJ must use subwoofers and quality top speakers to ensure the optimum sound balance is achieved. As an experienced DJ I will always ask for the number of guests attending and offer to view the venue if possible.
Similarly, many DJ’s are not able to control their lighting direction and speed. This may be ok at a teenagers party but not at wedding reception. Instead industry standard DMX lighting should enable the DJ to have full control of the lighting. All lighting is LED these days.
Will your DJ have reliable equipment? Equipment should be regularly serviced and safety compliant with regular inspections. All DJ’s should have Portable Appliance Testing Certification (PAT). What happens if the equipment fails on the night? Any good experienced Wedding or Function DJ must carry spares to ensure the party doesn’t stop.
You can be assured at East Anglian Discos that I will provide reliable, high quality & appropriate equipment for your event. I have a number of systems and will adapt the sound & lighting to suit your requirements. I only the most reliable brands such as FBT, RCF, Pioneer, American DJ & Denon.
