The school prom disco season is here, and It’s always a busy time for Mobile DJs.
School, college and University Proms are now an annual feature in the calendar for most school and college leavers. Most of these end of term celebrations feature a disco.

Back in 1996, I DJ’d my first prom at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. Since then, Proms have an increasingly become an annual fixture for most schools.
This year I was delighted to be invited back again to the prestigious Clare College Cambridge to provide prom entertainment to their international students. It was a great celebration and I packed the dance floor all night long!
The great thing I like about proms is that it’s a fantastic celebration and for many youngsters, it’s their first adult social occasion. It’s also a chance to celebrate after their exams.
I find that proms have a real mixture of recent and classic music mixed in with party favourites, making it an absolute pleasure to DJ. Many youngsters are influenced by their parents music tastes!
To make your prom extra special I can provide extras such as mood lighting or UV lighting which will give the venue that extra ‘wow’ factor and it looks really classy.
Prom dates in June & July each year are very popular, and I would therefore highly recommend booking early. The season is quite short, typically from early June through to late July.
