Experience
I have been a wedding & function DJ & compare for over 30 years. This means that I have unrivalled knowledge and experience of most of the regions venues from their acoustics through to what type of lighting and sound system will be best.
I realise that very occasion is unique. This means I always have a flexible approach and friendly working with you and other providers such as your venue, photographer, wedding coordinator and toast master.
I have DJ’d virtually every conceivable function from Wedding receptions to 100th Birthday parties. Whatever you are planning you will have peace of mind knowing that you are in capable and knowledgeable hands. I am also a certified member of the National Association of Disc Jockeys.
Music
The most important ingredient to your occasion will be the music your DJ will play.
Why am I different to the other mobile discos?
Firstly, I have 30 years of experience of knowing what music people love dancing to. I play to the audience and for all age groups.
Secondly, I am experienced playing all types of music. Recently I had the pleasure of DJing a Colombian wedding where the couple specified South American music. Whatever, you want I would be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
Thirdly, I play the music you want. I welcome your requests or playlists. Maybe you and your friends have put together a list of special songs. That’s absolutely fine. Possibly, there might be songs which you don’t want played – that’s fine.
Annoucements
Maybe you would like to make a speech or announcement? No problem, I provide radio microphones for client’s use. I don’t charge extra for this.
I will also use my experience and work with you to ensure that announcements are made clearly at the appropriate time. For example, the Bride & Groom’s ‘first dance’.
Sometimes, clients may wish me compare the evening such as a corporate or charity event. I will use my experience to ensure the evening runs smoothly.
Peace of Mind
Will your DJ turn up? How do you know? These are serious questions.
With me, I offer a free meeting where you can meet me, and ask me questions.
I also provide a bookings contract for every event. This gives you 100% peace of mind.
What if you wish to alter some details later? No problem, I recognise that plans, timings change, and I will be flexible and work with you.
What happens if your DJ’s equipment should fail? All competent DJ’s such as me will carry back up equipment giving you total peace of mind. Sadly, a large number of DJ’s cut corners ans don’t do so, which will put their client’s function at risk.
I have been awarded the NAD Platinum DJ award for the 10th year running. One of the few DJ’s in East Anglia to achieve this standard.
Choice of Equipment
When you book me, I will ensure that the sound system and lighting used for your function is suitable. For example, I have 4 separate sound systems suitable for functions from 20 to 400 people. Many discos have one system which may not be appropriate or underpowered for your function. There is nothing worse than poor quality sound!
Marquees for example will require a more powerful system than a small village hall.
I have large selection of computer controlled lighting to suit your function and venue. For example, I am able to control, brightness, whether the lights flash, speed and colour selection. Let’s say you wanted white or blue lighting, that’s no problem!

I take health and safety very seriously. All equipment is regularly checked and serviced. All equipment carries the portable appliance certification.
I have £10m public liability insurance. Certificates can be provided.
