This article is aimed at giving my prospective clients some guidance and rational on mobile disco and DJ prices and what also to consider when booking a mobile disco for a wedding or party.
DJ Prices – How Much Do You Charge?
This is the number 1 question which prospective clients ask me on initial contact, sometimes without asking me the all important follow-up questions which are much more important. My advice is to ask everything you want to ask and then finish off with clarifying the price. You will then have all of the facts to hand to make a clear decision or whether the DJ it is right for you.
If you are booking on price alone, that is very risky, and from my experience I would advise against it.
DJ Prices – Very Cheap Spells Double Trouble
We all love a bargain don’t we? I know I do! Be very careful in trying to find the cheapest possible disco. Why do I advise this?
In my experience the number one problem with cheap discos is that they are unreliable, often inexperienced and they frequently let people down. The reason is simply that they usually do not have a professional business approach and cut corners to keep costs down and this usually involves poor outdated equipment, and lack of safety certification which offers you the customer little peace of mind. In addition they do on occasions let people down at short notice on the offer of a larger fee. Some will not let you know and just don’t turn up on your big day. Heartbreaking isn’t it?
Very Expensive Discos – Be Careful!
Just a few words of advice in respect of DJ Prices. Be very wary of people offering a ‘premium service’ and charging a high fee for no apparent reason or possibly claiming they are multiple awarding winning DJs. Quite often very high fees won’t provide you with any additional benefits, and usually quite the opposite. Some of these ‘Awards’ can simply purchased rather than being genuine! DJ Prices should reflect a fair fee for the work which it entails.
DJ Prices – True Stories
At the time of writing this article I have just taken a phone call from a distraught Bride who was let down by a local DJ and who has vanished after the bride & groom had paid him in full. Unfortunately, I usually receive many similar calls during the year, and the common factor is aways low prices charged by the DJ and minimal contact information.
The likely explanation is that they (the DJ) have gone elsewhere for more money at short notice – rotten isn’t it?

Bronze Disco Package from £395
I recommend this great package covering up to 4 hours of music for smaller venues where space & time might be limited or for smaller gatherings for up to 50 people. Ideal for those small weddings, birthday parties & other celebrations. It offers great value for money & versatility as well as excellent flexibility.

Silver Disco Package from £550
My most popular package, and is suitable for small to large venues. It offers a significant upgrade from the bronze package mentioned above & provides 25% more playing time, a more powerful sound system, additional lighting & larger DJ booth with a choice of our popular white or black led star cloth. A free client meeting is also included (if required).

Gold Disco package from £695
This ultimate disco package is great in all venues when a larger disco is required, or if slightly more playing time is needed (up to 6 hours), as it offers full flexibility and includes many extras including an early set up if required, and offers exceptional value for money. The Rolls Royce option and one of my most popular wedding packages. It’s a very popular package which includes many extras.

Book Early & Save £££
DJ Prices – book early & save. Unlike many discos if you book say 18 months or 2 years ahead, I do not charge you extra for you being so organised! The price that you are charged will be my current disco price and will be locked in at the time of booking giving you additional peace of mind. For example, I recently took 3 bookings for 2029 for my popular Gold wedding package. These have been charged to the client based on 2026 prices. This allows you the client to budget and offers you transparency in the booking process, without any unwelcome surprises down the line.
